I was thinking about—humor—! Did I take something outta whack? I always seem to do that.

When you don't have a budget or even if you do get the best glass you can afford . If your thinking about a scope put out the feelers and see if there's anyone in your area that will let you have a look in real world conditions not at some store . Luckily Lance is here in Arizona and was super helpful with letting me check out stock and scope options and answering all my questions when building my 280ai . Having a atacr already and comparing it to a tt315m it was a easy choice for me and my 280ai is wearing a tt315 . Best scope for clarity and weight hands down.

An optic that never gets mentioned among all the heavy hitters, and definitely deserves to be there, is the Trijicon Tenmile. They've got a 3-18x44 that is in a sweet spot for me in terms of weight, feature set, and reliability. They have a 4.5-30x56 but its too heavy for my liking.

Unfortunately for my wallet once you look through the high end glass you don't want to step backwards into medicority! Sometimes ignorance is bliss!

I killed a bunch of critters with tasco, simmons, and nikon scopes over the years when I was in high school and fresh out of college and never knew what I was missing (or in most cases wasn't missing!). I've since been upgrading glass and yes I like the alpha-tier scopes!
