I am 65 years old,
In 2009 my fishing buddy and I were thrown from a boat at 75 miles an hour and landed on the bank of Lake Bridgeport in a big pile of boulders, wasn't good should have killed us both, Good Lord was with us. Prior to the boat accident I had bad, bad Sciatica, chiropractor twice a week for a couple of years. The boat accident broke my pelvis in 2 places, all the ribs on my right side and my heel bone and screwed up my left wrist, jammed it screwed up the joint. Well, believe it or not no more Sciatica, haven't been to the chiropractor since for that ailment, but the wrist is a different story, it got to where I could barely use my left thumb or hand, excruciating pain. Many sessions at the Dr and tried all kinds of drugs and potions to no avail.
My wife brought home a bottle of full spectrum CBD oil, I can't say enough about the miraculous change it has made in my life. 4 days after starting the therapy I could use my hand and thumb full function, no pain, this had not been the case for a long time and my other inflamed joints are much better too, my knees and shoulders have been a wreck for several years.
I am not preaching here but, you might be very surprised at what CBD oil can do to make some things better, it cured me.
My pelvis has never bothered me since I recovered, it was a horrible 4 month recovery but it healed better than it should have.

Cbd can certainly help. Products with a high cbd A content are best for things like pain and arthritis. Biggest problem with cbd is its not all created equal the market has a lot of crap product for sale. The cheap gas station stuff is cheap for a reason. Lots of people got into growing it last season and many did it like any other farm crop and the end result sucks. Medical grade cbd is grown under close observation and involves a lot of hands on work and sending samples to the lab every other week to monitor levels. We got liscensed and grew an acre last year that acre took far more work in being cared for than the cows and remaining 149 acres.

Thieves are everywhere we keep it where it cant be seen from the road and was monitored by cameras 24/7. Have a couple guards and roving patrolls that get paid in belly rubs and table scraps too.

Sciatica sucks!! My L1 thru S1 is pretty much fubar. Herniated the lot of em back in 08. A couple discs had fragments break off. To this day they are all still bulged and torn. The VA has given me steroid injections, tens unit, traction device, muscle relaxers nothing helps for very long. They finally sent me to have a nerve conduction study done what a miserable experience that was! The specialists wants to give me RFA. Basically they want to burn my sciatic nerves out. Im down to give it a go but am now stuck in limbo waiting for the VA to approve it. Lots of stretching throughout the day to keep things loose. Once I sit down for the evening is when everything gets so tight i can barely walk.

They told you the nerves would grow back after the ablation didn't they? Your pain will return.

Sciatica - no joke!

Been there one time after 2 days of pick & shovel removing embedded round rock near house. Our nice doctor lady suggested Aleve -nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Fearing the Aleve would not go with Bourbon I quit my daily 2 oz. shot for 2 bad days. Now, I hire help with machinery like a smart old guy should.

Well just back from Docs, good news no likely disc causing it from eval. Just an old critter. So the miracle drug for me is prednisone pack plus muscle relaxers. Hopefully I will see some improvement in next few days.

I prefer not to use loader .... yet! I have found Tylenol arthritis 650 mg works better for me than Aleve/Advil.

@xsn10s nailed it that you get real crotchety so my wife shouldn't have to put up with shortness so maybe she might like the loader idea!

Hang in there, Brother Craig! I have a bad L3/4. I can't remember the medical term, but something to the deteriorating effect, but the good thing is no pinched nerve. When I asked my doc, he said I was getting old.
