Jwp: I agree with you on the certain lighting conditions. The s&b is like owning swarovski binoculars vs. nikon. I still don't see a difference in mark 4 glass vs. nightforce. Maybe I got some really good mark 4's and some not so good nxs's. Or maybe I'm loosing my mind.
