How did he contact you? Via unsolicited email or text?
It's unlikely you actually dealt with " Sedell Mcgriff ". His name, address, ID probably stolen or he is being scammed into receiving the money for a third party. That's pretty much the m.o. for these lowlifes. They are well insulated, which is why they keep getting away with it.
We only corresponded through LRHF personal messages. And I sent postal money orders to Sedell Mcgriff, they were cashed or deposited.

If PMO was used doesn't that fall into federal jurisdiction?
You could call and get them the numbers.. talk to a postal inspector in Florida see what they say atleast
