Here's my 7's and 300's.
Nearest ones are factory Rem Seven in 7 and factory Rem 700 in 300 sitting in different stocks.
Farthest are customs.

My HS Precision 300 SAUM, 15" barrel with their break, McMillan stock. So far the Accubonds have turned in the best groups with H4831SC.

Very nice. I thought a while back that the 300 saum would be perfect elk medicine out of a pistol a while back. I like that!

Nephews first attempt yesterday with his new rifle 500 yards. He's never shot over 100 yards. 195 EOL 2,925 fps.

My 7 saum I put together myself. Proof barrel ( Sammi specs)22 inch barrel, impact NPK action, manners LRH stock, trigger tech diamond trigger, Hawkins bottom metal, MDT 3 round clip, and little bastard muzzle break.

I put this rifle together for a future hunt in Montana, hopefully in 2024. The reason for choosing this caliber, the ballistic are awesome. I also throughly enjoy my 280AI and this is supposed to beat it by 100FPS using the same 168 grain bullet.

Another reason, I can get prefit barrels and spin it on myself. The last reason, I want to have several rifles that shoot the same bullet. The 7 saum and 280AI can shoot the same bullet. I wanted to narrow my scope with a couple guns and use the same bullet in several rifles.

I haven't finished load development, but you can see it's shooting pretty good so far.

The last picture is of calibers I have. I thought it was interesting to see the difference. Remember, the 280AI has a longer case but the 7 saum has it beat when it comes to FPS by 100. From left to right the carriages are 300rum, 300WM, 280AI, 7SAUM, and 6dasher.

7 SAUM, built from a REM 722 action, Mack Bros bolt, CarbonSix barrel, AG Composites Alpine Hunter stock, Mariaki Machine brake, Nightforce NX8 4-32 FFP scope on talley rings, Hawkins Hunter BM and mag set for 2.95 col. It shot everything well out the gate. Used 175 Nosler ABLR at 2700 fps to thunp this Whitetail at 250 yards at my grandfather's property this year. Interesting note, I have a 280 AI and they run almost identical. Another good load is with 160gr monometal CX's at 2800 fps. In the end I wish I was getting more fps out of it but it is a joy to shoot. Very little recoil.

I got mine from gunwerks months ago. It is ADG brass with gunwerks head stamp.

Me too. Had it in stock in 100 piece bags. Got it just to compare to all my adg and it is essentially the same weight and dimensions when I compared the two.

Well crap, you guys posting all these pics and talking with Longtine, I think a SAUM of 6.5 and 7 is going to be scheduled in the very near future. I will use a Terminus Zeus QC so I only have to purchase one stock, trigger, scope, make it a little easier on my wallet... Merry Christmas everyone!
