Very nice. I just finished a build using a ARC Nucleus Action and have a 26" Rock Creek. I just started load development for it and am excited to see what it generates with RL26. Waiting for my Surefire Socom Can to get here.

What barrel length? I was running 42.5 grains of h4350 in hornady brass and that was giving me 2845 fps in my 26in.Guess I'm gonna have too pick up some magic dust! 2725 FPS with h4350 and 143 eld's Seems kinda weak compared too that! Accuracy was really good though!
As soon as I can get a 8lb jug I'll switch to rl-26 as my main 6.5 creed powder. However rl-16 is showing some promise.Pretty insane. I am going to make up full test loads for this coming up weekend and see what I can find out! I like them velocities. Those two grouped in same hole along with the previous other 6 out 10 2 shot tests. That was my highest charge tested which was 49.1gr.
I've always wondered that, but my brass isnt showing any signs of pressure????? I would think if it was over pressured the brass would show it.It's easy to get carried away watching the impressive velocity numbers of RL26 I am really interested to know what kind of pressure it's running at.
I shot it in TX at 100-106 all summer last year. Velocity does increase some! @ 70 I was running 2840. @ 103 2870. 47.0 gr! Never had any spike like people keep saying. Had I loaded max @70 it might be getting close to over pressure! Thats why I load for worst case temp.Any signs of pressure creep over 85*F w. RL26? I noticed a dramatic increase in my 6.5 SS once I hit 85* in AZ. Went from a hot load to an overpressure load very quickly.
Look at Page 2 and 3 of this thread. Good intel about pressure from "Quick Load".It's easy to get carried away watching the impressive velocity numbers of RL26 I am really interested to know what kind of pressure it's running at.
a new 26 in christensen.I ran up too 41.8 but as of now 41.3-41.5 IS VERY accurate. I haven't played with seating depth yet. I can go longer or shorter , I started at .025 off lands. If I can gain 150+ fps with rl-26 and keep the accuracy I'm seeing right now I'd like this cartridge a lot more! What barrel length? Should be able to hit 2850-2900 pretty easily. My rifle likes 48 grains giving me 2945 fpsa new 26 in christensen.I ran up too 41.8 but as of now 41.3-41.5 IS VERY accurate.
