I have Strata's in .30-06AI, 7mm Rem Magnum and .280 Remington and all have the slim brake. It's amazing how well they work to tame recoil. You're thinking 7STW recoil in a 5-lb rifle will be tough. No worries, folks. That brake works.

I have a Strata in .338 Win. Mag. and no recoil issues with the brake.

Buddy has an mg arms clone to this in 375. Very manageable to shoot and awesome rifle.

Thanks all for the replies. I had a 7STW at one time and let it go. A mistake. I do like the chambering. I'll put my thinking capon this one.

Lex is one of the best rifle builders for sure. I have both a 280 Rem & a 300 Wby in the Strata. Good Luck with the sale.
