Riflemans Rule

What's the Sierra method?
exterior ballistics here it is in their own words

from what i gather (correct me if I'm wrong as I usually use cosxdrop) find the riflemans rule then apply this- horizantal distance to target[FONT=arial,helvetica,verdana,sns-serif][1.0 – cosine of shot Angle] =how much higher than the riflemans rule you will shoot

if you were shooting 1000 yrds on a 20 degree angle and the riflemans rule says the horizontal range is 939.6 then calculate [1-cosineA] or 1-.9396=.06 now 939.6 x .06 = 56.34 so 939.6 - 56.34 = 883.26 yrds
