Removing live primers??

Why not? Is the FL die some type of non-adjustable decapping pin that you can't run it down?

Yes I guess if I would loosen the expander stem and turn it down till needed then it would work. But this is something that need not be done if you are depriming spent primers.Manual in such a case is ok. I made a mistake and paid the price. I believed the case to have a spent primer and it did not. Accidents happen. I posted this to make others aware of the strength of live primers. I didn't think that a live primer could have this much power. I found out the hard way.

Thank you all for the advise on removing live primers. I just ran them thru the rifle and shot them. That seemed the safest way. Thanks again.
