I had a few oopsies this month while seating primers. I've got one that was flipped upside down, one that somehow got sideways, and one that's half seated on a slight angle. I'm wondering if I can finish seating the primer that's half out. Not sure what to do about the others. Any advice?

How do you remove these without the possibilty of accidental discharge? I've had a couple go in sideways also, I always just discarded that case.

How'd this happen? Progressive press?

Just push them out with the die. I've done it MANY times without issue. I normally toss them out but have saved a few that I intend to use in my fouling ammo.

Unlike when seating them, there's nothing but friction holding them from pushing back out. They just push right back out and the compound doesn't get crushed by the anvil, and definitely not quick enough, to make it go off.

Just make sure the opening in your shell holder isn't obstructed to where it would keep the primer from coming out easily, and they'll push right back out- usually easier than a spent primer.

You use the FL die, or neck die, go really slowly and the primers push out. What you don't want to do is try to re-seat them, as the force required may be enough to set them off.
I did that with a hand primer once, noticed unusual resistance and removed the primer tray first to look under the case, saw 2 primers wedged in there, they wouldn't budge, so I went outside and gently squeezed and BOOM, BOTH PRIMERS WENT OFF.
I now only seat ONE primer in the gate, then close the gate….

Cheers.
