I've had two of these 5r rifles
In 300 wm. One shot noticeably better than the other but both shot quite well for a production rifle. I put Nightforce steel base and rings on one and badger steel rings and base on one, I had my smith pin the base to the action on the more
Accurate rifle. The steel bases and rings make it even heavier but they sure aren't going anywhere either. If your not worried about the extra weight I'd go with the Nightforce or badger steel rings and 20 moa base.
