The 600 is a unique style. I have religated to a saddle (trunk) gun. One never knows when one may need a rifle. You've inspired me to work on it. I feel tac welding the mag to the action is the answer but raises another question. Would one then free float the magazine and pillar bed and bed the action only? I quess that is why one makes single shots out of them . What if one were to cut off the bottom of the mag so it doesn't touch the floor plate. Tac weld the mag to the action so the mag follower is the only thing touching the floor plate. Open up mag well and the mag as not to touch. Pillar and bed the action. Buy a new plastic floor plate for 1/3 the money of steel. Looking for critics for my design? lightbulb
