Reloading for the new .277 Fury from Sig

These were just loads for velocity today, hence the large jumps in powder, chosen for their estimated pressure. Except for the 1st load, they're all over 65kpsi and right up to the limit, so don't be using load data from some guy on the internet(me) and not looking into everything first. But, to give an idea of what this round will do for anyone thinking about loading for it...
5 shot averages, 18in barrel, 2.950 COAL, 140gr BD-2, lever evolution. 29F OAT, because with this powder, it matters.
45.5gr - 2832
46.6gr - 2876
47.8gr - 2955
48.4gr - 2972fps
You did not list the powder, but your loads look very close to mine. I am using 145gr. Hornady ELD-X bullet. I took apart a factory load with 135gr. bullet and the powder was 48grs. No pressure signs at all. Powder looks like may be 4350. Oh yeah, factory load was 3030 out of a 20 inch barrel.

I have run into a very strange issue. I recently purchased an Sig Cross in 277 Sig Fury and several boxes of their 130gr general use ammo. My plan was to reload the used brass.

I picked up a set of Lee dies
Midsouth 270 130gr (seconds) bullets
Winchester Large Rilfe Primers

I've cleaned and resized my brass.
As I went to setup the correct bullet height and COL; I could not get the bullet to seat into the case. I looked at the bullet and the case mouth had gouged the copper off the side of the bullet and would not seat.
All these product "should have worked"

Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

Maybe dumb questions, but: when you sized, did you use the neck button? And did you debur the new (pulled?) brass?
Not a dumb question at all. I chamfered and deburred all the brass.
I did not use a neck button, used a FLD
I did forget to mention the bullets were .270(.277) 130gr

This is my first attempt reloading "large" rifle stuff. I'm used to reloading .223 and or 5.56 cartridges

If you used a fl die the neck button is on the decapping rod. Was it in the die?

I suppose that you immediately noticed that the "large" rifle stuff, aka. bullets……where much easier to pick up vs the "small" rifle stuff.😜 memtb
