I am newbie to reloading and i need some info about purchasing reloading sies? I plan on using my reloads for long range predator hunting (400+yds) i have a 270 winchester and wish to use 90-100 bullets for chest shots, i dont plan on using the entire pelt so damage isnt much of a factor. Would i be better off purchasing micrometer competition dies for developing an accurate load or would regular dies be just as good?

I would look at the Forester Bonanza BR dies first. the micro seater is as good as anything on the market and costs under $50

Second if using factory barrel the standard Forester BR dies would easily work for what you want. No need for microseater unless match chamber and match bullets for most people.
