RCBS MatchMaster

Powder drain out the bottom.
Why would they think that was an improved design? That makes it a pass for me right there.

I went with the Auto Trickler V3.
Should have it in Feb.

I remember the first time I saw them being advertised and thought "great I could use an upgrade"!
Then I clicked on the link and nearly *Rule 4 violated* my pants!:D

Think Ill just keep using my Lyman Gen 5 and verifying with the old school balance beam.

The Auto Trickler V3 isn't just about precision which it is the clear leader. It is also about time and efficiency. What price does a person put on that?

I also thought the Auto Trickler V3 was expensive when I first discovered it. I sold both of my RCBS Chargemasters to help fund the new purchase.

If I get over 10 years use out of it I think it is money well spent.

Yes the Chargemaster and Lyman Gen 5 will work just fine. I would not drop the cash on a RCBS Matchmaster. No way.

Why not just run 3 ChargeMasters? Seems like they have rebates often enough that you can get them for <$250. The last one I got for $189. Pretty much never have to wait. Accurate to 0.1gr. Pretty decent really.

I'd rather use one FX120 scale than 3 Chargemaster scales that can and will dispense 3 different charge weights each and every time.

One V3 takes up way less real estate than 3 Chargemasters.

1. Precision and or Accuracy
2. Time
3. Bench area used

Also, I don't want to derail the thread. IMHO, nothing wrong with dispensers mentioned in this thread at there price points.

I just think the Auto Trickler V3 is a clear winner over the RCBS Matchmaster. Both being in the same price range.

Just came across this on Midway. Wonder if it'll be worth the money. Anyone had a chance to play with one yet?

I have been using a lyman 1200 for about 12 years never had any issues ,I check accuracy about every 10th charge with a gem pro 250 and very seldom is it off at all .Friends have gone to the newer model with the same good results and a lot less $ than the new rcbs

I have the cheaper one at the bottom of the post and all i have is box stock guns and i probably could not shoot the .2 & .3 groups guys post on here regular anyway but here is a group i shot today of my 168 amaxs i loaded wth the cheaper auto dispenser and scale
