I know its pricey but I would suggest trying some Sitka items in 3xl, especially the items designed for layering. The Dakota pants cut works well for bigger guys, and available in a tall up to 38. I really like the Dakota pants if you don't solid brown or the "Marsh"pattern.

I also like the Eddie Bauer Guide series pants. These are great for warmer weather or layered up for later season. Tall sizes available, and the waist seems to run large.

Core4Element was a brand owned by Easton that is no longer around. I purchased some of these items on CamoFire and the fit is generous. I have seen some of these items on eBay recently.
