powders for 300 WSM

I have had excellent luck with H4831SC in terms of accuracy and pretty decent velocity. I am running these out of a 15" barrel though so I am somewhat inclined to try a little faster powder to try to maintain accuracy and improve the velocity a bit.

If you want velocity you killed that when you bought the short barrel. Get a barrel that fits the caliber. Then you will get more velocity with the load you use now. Why do you think beachrest shooters use 30 inch barrels?
And the weight you think you saved with a short barrel is less than a few extra rounds to carry in your pocket with you hunting.
people that buy cars with V-8's don't pull off 4 spark plug wires to go racing do they?
