He didn't explain his issue very well or even at all. Vortex honored their warranty, but replaced it with a non Japanese built version. Same product different manufacturing location. OP of old thread was not happy about that. Vortex for all intents and purpose fulfilled their obligation to the customer.

I don't care either way on this matter. I don't own anything vortex, just making sure unbiased info on the last thread is on here.

It is irrelevant to me, whether it is a fact or opinion based story. I can tell the difference between the 2, and I do not need a moderator someplace, deciding what I can or cannot read. This post being deleted, angers me.

He's not a moderator but the owner and creator of the forum, he doesn't allow those kinds of threads on his forum, what's so hard about that!!

Absalutely not, read the forum rules, that's all that'll get you in trouble, there are not a team of moderators on this forum, to get a thread pulled takes breaking rules.

That's not the issue, the issue is the OWNER of the forum has a set of rules for how WE operate on HIS forum, if something crosses the line why be surprised when it's gone!!

This is very frustrating for anyone who has invested in Vortex Scopes as well as those who are considering purchasing one.
Currently I own Vortex scopes in several models of each one they make, from the Crossfire to Razor and a Razor spotting scope. I have never had any issues but, I am comfortable knowing if I did, they carry a lifetime warranty.

I am going to close this thread. But before I do, here are two links to the RULES.

They are a little redundant in a couple cases. And maybe not quite 100.0 % consistent.

I know life isn't perfect and neither is the way I have run this forum since 2001. But LRH seems to work well for many, many thousands of members.

If some of you find a site that fits your needs more perfectly, sorry to lose you but not much I can do about making life perfect.
