Mr Rich says about 20-25 fps/inch if my memory serves correctly in the SS-Max.

I would just look around. My fps are at accuracy. My 7 max I had 11 firing on that brass. I ran n570 so that helps with speed but at the cost of throats and barrel life. I went to the mega because I wanted to run the 190 atip at 2950 -3k out of a 20 inch barrel.
The Max will do what you need with a 180, comfortably.
But if you decided on 190-195 down the road Mr Mega sure would be nice. Ain't it fun?

I absolutely loved my max. But the mega is a whole different animal I shot an elr match with mine out to 2500. Shooting against big 338 I didn't feel under gunned untill we hit that 2500 yard mark. Splashes were just harder to see.
