Picking the right stock.

The Proof lightweight mountain hunter stocks are stupid light and come with a BDL inlet as a standard. They are more of a traditional style stock, but you might be able to find a factory take off in the vertical grip version which aren't sold individually.

Mesa makes all of theirs in house.
When did that start?

heres a post on AG's fb that says Mesa owns the rights. dated sep 12th 2018

Regardless what stock you go with you will not go wrong with AG I don't know about turn around time with others but mine came in sooner than expected very satisfied with their stocks . The only stock I haven't bedded it shoots so good . One thing I would check on is the bolt notch cut out most stock makers cut the notch way bigger than it needs too be too fit all different bolt alterations especially on 60 degree bolt throws , they can address this issue in several ways just ask them ,or make sure you understand before you order.I glassed mine in on my alpine hunter and reinletted it and ordered touch up paint good as new . I called them and asked if I ordered another stock could they build it without the bolt notch cut out so I could inlet it myself and that is a option so that's what I will do next time no big deal that may or not matter too most, it is strictly the aesthetics sorry for the long post just trying too help.
