Pic too big, new phone

I got a new phone and now can't post pictures. When I upload it says picture is too large. It's an iPhone 16pro. No clue how to resize. Any help would be appreciated.

Tried on the whiskey tasting post. Now it uploads but have to tap on it to view. Like this

Try cropping the photo, shrink it down.
