take your time and lube well... I'd start forming with either a 41 cal or 37 cal.. keep us posted on how it works

My plan is to ram it into a 375 H&H die then into a 338 win. finishing it off in the 7mm stw

if you could find a 375 rum or 416 rem die you wouldn't have to blow the shoulder back out... save a bit of brass life... not really necessary for a test run but for quantity it might make a difference

I ordered a box of these....sent four of them to Neil jones....he's making me a fl sizing die that fits my chamber perfectly that uses bushings...on top of that he's makings "four step" sizing bushings to make this brass into perfect stw brass....no fireforming needed...the shoulder will be .002 back from my formed cases....all I should have to do is neck turn them and trim to length...my problem is I'm waiting 6-8 months for it and I'm tired of my nosler brass.

How much does he charge for the forming dies?

I think his custom dies run $225. Should be another 50 or so for the forming bushings

Neil Jones makes awesome dies .. he made all my 338 NM based Imp wildcat dies back in 2012-13 , from 6.5 thru 375

I contacted Peterson about forming 7mm STW brass using the belted mag case, they didn't know of anyone doing it and were very interested in having someone try it, they sent me a free sample pack to try,.
I'm thinking i might have found my new strait wall cart. to use in Ohio

I tried doing one in the 7stw die without doing it in steps and you can guess it didn't turn out, I pushed the project to the back for a later time when I have less projects going… sorry I don't have better news.

Okay this is as far as I got so far. From 375 rem to 8mm rem to 7 stw. They look good but the shoulder is not back far enough so I ordered a 7 stw form die from Redding.
