Painting Hogue Over-Molded Stock

I've done it. No special paint, just Krylon. I sprayed two coats of primer, then two black, then one coat of the "fake stone" paint-- I can't remember the name of it. It turned out very nice. However--if you are in love with the soft rubber feel of your stock, don't paint it. I guess the rubber absorbs some of the primer and it becomes hard, almost like plastic.

Do you recall, was it Krylon Fusion for plastics or what type of Krylon. I'm interesed in paint a hogue and I'd like to do it right.
