I went with the super match. They lap the barrel much smoother and it is suppose to break in easier. I ended up calling Lothar Walther and decided to get one of those. I can get a barrel contoured to my specifications, and threaded for the action plus the break for $489 total. That will save me some money to put toward a stock.

Lothar Walther quoted 3 to 3 1/2 weeks for my barrel once they receive the check. It was nice to talk with someone that knew what they were talking about. When I get the funds, I will probably dive into a Lilja. Pac Nor was none to impressive when I called. Just a secretary taking orders, but not really telling me a whole lot.

Tank.....Ya, that's one thing I like about Dan Lilja. He is available and helpful. He only lives about 130 miles from me and he has given me a personal tour of his facility. Also, he was really into the long range shooting so has a good feel for what we want.....Rich

I just had a M700 6.5 Creedmoor built this last summer and I've been pleased with the Lilja barrel.
