+p chamber by DE

From what I was told directly by DE, +P works best with cartridges that have plenty of case capacity to increase charge weights by 10-15%. 5-10% will get you back up to normal pressures and not gain much.

I have read that and some other threads and there is pros/cons to it that's why I am asking who has had one and what they see to see if it's worth it

What cartridge are you looking to do this for? New build from scratch or an action you already have?

IE 300 WM, just build a RUM.

Buying a new action, just go 300NMI vice 300N and so on.
Have them all throated accordingly and enjoy shooting another 300 rounds on it before you need a new barrel.

Well it would be on action already have. I was going back and forth on having a 6.5 prc turned into a prc/si or have it +p or having one prc/si and +p to see the difference

Unknown Munitions might have some input for you. It's all a game of gain vs cost. You make the call based on your application, but I have it done on a wildcat off a 338 LM Improved case. I'm relatively happy, but its a dedicated long-range big game setup, so I don't shoot the rifle a lot. Already got a bit of firecracking at 300 +/- rounds from the 106 gr doses of RL33, but hasn't seemed to affect accuracy for the monos I've been running. It might be enough to tear up a C&C jacket at my velocities. Have since switched to Retumbo (7mm Apex 147 @3,730).

For a high-volume shooter, maybe not the best application. Can't imagine it would affect barrel life quite as much on a 6.5 PRC class chambering, but you may not get quite the velocity gain either..? I've discussed it with Blaine at UM awhile back but can't recall the numbers they were seeing with it. Barrel companies may not support it...which may or may not matter to you. Kirby Allen and Alex Wheeler among those who are not so keen on it...
