Opinion on a 4-14 vxIII w/ elev turret

1", but I have plenty of elevation adjustment, atleast for the 338LM. I can get about 60 minutes of elevation adjustment from a 100 yard zero with a 20 moa base.

YT, i love my VH reticle. I think it's one of the most flexible ballistic and rangefinding reticles out there. Get the elevation turret, and just apply the short stadia along the horizontal reticle axis for windage (or learn to use the reticle as a subtension system--none of my reticles ever add up to even 100 yd. intervals really). It's an excellent system for windage @ 1.77 MOA intervals.

I like it. It gets the job done. I still plan to upgrade to a MK4 or a Nightforce. Yes it has the AO.

You`ll be well pleased with the Mark 4. I just put a 6.5 x 25 on a .22-6mm and it`s well worth the money. When I bore sighted my rifle the first shot was 8 in left and 2 in. high. I clicled it in and the second shot hit my point on aim, a dot of abt .25 in. It tracks at lest as well as any of my target scopes and maybe alittle better. It is by far the highest priced scope I ever bought, but I love it the most.
