I agree.
The 162's are a bit longer but slick and get good velocity in other rifles I've used them in.

FYI… my load with the 160 GK HPBT is with Hybrid100v and Fed 210. Should work as well with 162's.
My son shoots 160 Accubond exclusively in his with N560 and Fed210 @ 2960 but with 24" and has had one shot kills on many whitetail, Axis, mule deer and a cow elk.
His COAL is 2.832"

With that said… you should be able to achieve your goal even with SA mag length.

You Could "Throw In" the 7MM Rem Mag, 7mm PRC , 7 SAUM ( 168's Plus ) and the .300 WSM ( 180's + ) and the .270 WSM,.. in the Mix !
For the ONE, "All around" Rifle ( Number 2 on, the OP's List ) It, will Do #1,. just Fine, also !
My .270 WSM, 24" Tikka, HAS "Shot completely Through", 2 Elk ( @ 100 & 120 yds ) and an Antelope ( @ 268 yds ) with 140 Bergers at 3,175 FPS
( Thru, Upper Shoulders ). this Bullet is STILL Going, OVER,.. 2,000 FPS at, 800 Yds !
And with, a 160 Partition, in it, it would STOP, a Grizzly for, Sure ! ( or, give him, a Serious Headache, anyway ! )
Factory Ammo is available for, All of, THESE Cartridges, IF not,.. a HandLoader !
The 6.5 PRC at Top Speed and the .270 WSM,. ARE,. "Kissin Cousins" for,.. Performance to about, 800 yds !
