Sherman Wildcat brass is available, though at a premium. In my experience the case dimensions allow brass to last a long time. Thankfully it's a one time investment.
ADG should be pumping out a good amount of 300 wsm by the end of this year, hopefully that will revive the wsm for shooters. I know I sure need some!
I have a 7SS and it is very versatile. Shoots the 160 and 170 class bullets at good velocity and great accuracy all in a short action package. Hard to say one is "better" than the other, but it is a very versatile cartridge. The 300 WSM is hard to beat though.
But with the newest bullets and fast twist barrels now being produced. The lines of "difference" are harder to see.
7 SAUM with 175 Berger EH.
