One of my favorite groups to date.

I settled for a load repeating around 2"with 15 or so ES.
And it better keep repeating! I think it was .006 or so different from the one above.
Pretty wide zone with the 190's.

When I say 2" I mean 1.75 one time and 2.2" next time etc etc
Anything repeating right around 1/3 MOA at 500 yards is plenty good in my book! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

I used some load data from an old rifle and just went to start getting rounds down the barrel.

Loaded up 60gr. N570 at a .010 jam.

First 5 shots down the barrel landed into a .6" group at 100 yards. I adjusted for a rough zero, and then went straight to 780 yards to verify drops and just because it's more fun than sitting at 100 yards.

I just happened to set up the video for fun, so it was cool that I caught the group.

I've shot smaller groups, at further distances, but it's pretty rare to perfectly center up a group on the POA at nearly 800 yards. I thought it was pretty dang cool. Holding .2 Mils left for a slight wind and spin drift.

Who else has some favorite groups that have stood out to them over most of the others?

I built a 338 Lapua Imp for a guy and shot a couple of groups with it while fire forming some brass for it. The group in the 2" circle sticker was the first group I shot with it at 500 yards. I brought the same target out the next weekend while testing a different rifle and shot a 7/8" group at 500 yards with it. These were with 300gr Sierra Match Kings. He has since fire formed all the brass and has 300gr Berger's going 3050 in it with prettty much the same results.

Definitely respectable, I'd say it's gonna be a good one. 👍

What is the COAL on that 6 PRC round? I need to see if I can make a 6 PRC fit in my restricted mag space on one of my multi barrel setups. Seems I may need a 6 PRC.

So mine is a bit unique. I'm using the SA bat vesper, and they're magazines also. So I'm actually at 3.010" COAL, being .010 into the lands, and can mag feed.

But my last setup was a Hawkins mag, so I seated them 2.975" COAL (.025 jump) and they shot excellent also. ELDM's in general are very forgiving to jump from what I've seen. The 108 ELDM lands about .2950" at .020 off if I remember right
