@Barehandlineman11 did all his with H50 and then I did the same. Better than using up the harder to get stuff. I'd plan on 92gr. H50 for a nice first forming charge.

I switched over to all Lapua. ADG is good stuff though. Didn't have the best of luck with Peterson.

Wow, that's not what I want to hear. I also have a bunch to form for my 338 lapua imp and 338 prc. All adg. Maybe I should sell it off and go lapua

H50bmg is a full case with the 245 and 250s. You will need to use a drop tube to get enough in the 300nmi.

It's better suited for the 30-338 lapua imp. IMO.

I played with it a lot last year but went back to n570. N570 always gives me the best velocities and precision. It's very temp stable in cold weather also.

I fireform 260AI, 264 Win Mag AI (with 7mm mag brass) and 300 NMI with ADG and have not experience any splitting.

I have had a Lapua case split while fireforming with factory ammo in my 300 Norma…nobody is safe!

@Barehandlineman11 builds a hell of a rifle. Tested some bullets today. No load development (which he hates hahaha). I just let the barrel do the work lol. Literally just loaded up 5 of each to see if it liked one over the other. Just seated close to the lands and used charge weights near the top end for each bullet.

H1000 powder.
86gr. for the 225
89gr. for the 208

Thats how i do it. really hard for a good shot with my 300 grain copper free bullets

Haha the easy button is using quality components and a good gun smith!

Then just loading some half assed moderately consistent ammo hahaha.

You save a ton of components with first rounds like that. I hope you don't get too bored not having to do a lot of load development. Although, I bet you test other loads for the fun of it.
