Took me 2 seconds. My Mauser 9.3x62. It will do anything I'll ever ask anywhere on this planet.
Whats your load that gets you to 800+, I thought you ran a 375 H&H, I've had to modify 270 TSX in the lathe to get them to open and give better wound channels but I have not found a bullet that I'd be event close to comfortable with beyond about 600 ish, the LRX is close but by 800 it's plowing air too.Under ideal conditions, I'm good to 800....both in accuracy (unless prairie dogs are on the menu), velocity (expansion, and energy (well above the accepted minimum). Though, I much prefer to stay under 600 yards. Hell..... I much prefer under 100 yards! memtb

My average elk shot over the last 8 years has been between 600&800 yards, then I throw in a 50 yarder every once in a while
Oh, I missed the AI part, that explains it, I don't think I would be comfortable at 800 with those impact speeds, I don't like dropping below 2200 fps for Barnes and bonded bullets and I'd be at 1700 even at the AI speeds..375 AI, 250 TTSX's @3130, from bench - sub 2" 3 shot groups @300 yards, pretty regular....but not every time. memtb

I thought the perimeters was factory cartridge...
#4- must be factory cartridge...
Is the 375 AI factory down South,,, you won't find them up here in the far North
