I think dark Stone sheep are the prettiest sheep in NA. It also sounds like you experienced a relative cake walk as far as Stone sheep hunts go, at least from my experience.
I had to book two Stone hunts before I found success and I hunted 19 days before we saw a legal ram to shoot. That said, I think Stone sheep are as special as it gets. Your photo's show how awesome that country is.

WOW! What an absolutely GRAND experience! I am so envious! At 76 this is probably out of reach for me, but is was an excellent write up that allowed me to live it vicariously through you.

I'm with ridgewalker, a well done story folllowing a great hunt. At 79 I'm a virtual sheep hunter, recalling the years I lived in AK and hunted Dolls every year, but only taking one if it was larger than my best at 39". I thought I would include a pic of what hunting clothes were like in the 70s....
