I have been applying in MI for 20+ years, points are nice but so does everyone else! I have vacationed nearby and ride back roads to see and some are impressive!

So you have a point system ? For just elk ?

I got curious and googled this. Very interesting. N.M. and Pa.,dfrahm elk were also started from Yellowstone elk . N.M. elk around same time as Az.. Muddy, read about New York elk in the state by state. Only 19 states without elk now.

Yeah and about 30 were bull tags spread over 14 regions, 1 or 2 in most zones with a couple having 3 bull tags...I've been trying for 20 years for a bull tag, easier to hunt with a camera...lol

That is a magnificent bull , he would probably kill me before I could kill him , from a heart attack or from hyper ventilation. and then he would walk away and no one would ever know.

Yep, but so many are in the system getting tag like winning MegaMillions! But its only $5 to apply so just keep donating. MI has a MI-HUNT drawing every year that includes elk tag, all sorts of donated hunting gear which is pretty cool.
