Nope, central Oklahoma, about 45 miles east of OKC.

No joke, he had a pretty good wound in his shoulder, we are thinking there is a much bigger buck in there that whipped him. Got to love the character deer though.

I know what you mean, I killed my biggest WT last year that had huge gouges in his shoulders and you just wonder how big that guy was!!

Big old Oklahoma archery buck. This guy came in chasing a doe right at sundown tonight. Picture doesn't do a very good job of showing the scale of his rack, his right side base is almost 10" circumference.View attachment 409257

TC338: would you mind sharing what county you hunt in? (Out of curiosity) I hunt in Creek county. No genetics even comparable to that!
