Often misspelled or misused word here in LRH ...

I'll play along. Is it reticule or reticle?

ret·i·cule
/ˈredəˌkyo͞ol/

noun
  • 1.a woman's small handbag, originally netted and typically having a drawstring and decorated with embroidery or beading.historical
  • 2.variant spelling of reticle

Hmmmm.....noticing that "d" in the phonetic spelling. Question that!!!

You're (not your) welcome. :) :) :)

So our 2 & 4 yr old grand daughters just left. We are now in recovery mode.😂 The energy level is off the charts and we need probably a day or so to get back to normal! OMG what fun it is to have them here. You haven't lived until you watch your 4 year old grand daughter shoot her compound bow dressed in a Snow White costume dress! The 2 year old is now shooting the bow as well. My son is loving it that the girls want to shoot the bow! It is a Bear youth bow that has huge range of adjustment. The 4 yr old pulls bow all on her own and lets it rip which is so funny to watch! Wish we could bottle that energy up and keep for a boost when we need it!!!

I saw a bumper sticker long time ago that says it all:
"If I knew grandkids were going to be this much fun, I'd had them first!"

Sorry for hijack but timing was just right.

Well, for a classic: young student to teacher, "I brang me brudder; me mudder's sick!" Then there's the Philly/Germantown: "cork the friggerin chimely." (Caulk the f'n chimney) But my current favorite has to be the use of "I" as a possessive as in, " he gave it to Sue and I." It's gotten so bad that "he gave it to Sue and me" sounds wrong! As they say, repeat a lie long enough.....

What can we expect when almost everyone on television news shows will say " we will return ammediately". These people are called professionals and should be accomplished public speakers.

Did you guys know that "As per" is actually redundant (i.e., "As per the memo")? It's actually either "As" or "Per".

Irregardless, I don't think it makes much difference. Sometimes I say "As per" to.
