NRA files for bankruptcy

Here's the thing. If the NRA falls, GOA and all the rest are next in line to fall even FASTER.. I see some Fudds starting to get a little worried also about their shot guns and wheel guns. You know by their standards, the "DEMS", a shot gun is a weapon of mass destruction compared to their SW snub 38.
If you are not an NRA member I suggest you spend the $30.00 and join now. I don't agree with what the top Management in the NRA has done and I don't agree with some of their Policies. So, the SHTF and we are cleaning house, not fast enough in my book, but we are making progress. I plan on being a member to the day I Die, and I will never give up on ideology the real NRA stood for., I am a GOA member also, working on my Life member ship. I love the GOA very much. The only thing that worries me about the GOA is some of it's member's, you know, the ones that jumped ship when the SHTF over at the NRA. They did the same thing as KELLY LAFLEUR and a Crapp load of Republican Senators. Yep, they jumped ship, abandon their post. That's how fast the GOA will fall, a lot faster than the NRA. One thing I do know about the remaining members in the NRA to day, they want abandon the cause, and they will never give up the FIGHT. Now, if we can only get Wayne's butt out of there and change our voting system for board members. It's like some thing the DNC dreamed up.

agree. I'm a Life Member and know most of the board is on Wayne's breadline.

That all said, they are about the only hope we have.

GOP has RINOs, Dems have AOC and Pelosi, we have Wayne. Nothing is forever.

I'm a Life-Benefactor member. In order to end the New York State corporate registration, they have to dissolve the corporation which they are doing through the voluntary Chapter 11 rules. They will then re-incorporate in Texas. They are paying their bills. The NRA is not broke. I totally support this maneuver.

Now they are looking to move the Fairfax, Va headquarters - another good move.

You will see other corporations doing this in large numbers this year. NY State is going to go nuts with higher corporate taxes starting this year. They will be leaving by the bus loads. Look to the same in California. Don't forget that Hewlett-Packard Packard just did this in 2020, as have many others. NRA was just slow on pulling the trigger with this latest move.

The latest Nancy bill on Covid relief is packed with Blue-State-Only bailout money!

They have become a nothing but a political organization with very little focus on 2A. Spending all their donor's hard earned money on lavish trips and designer handbags and really not even pushing back against the legislation that has impacted guns in the last couple years. Bump stock much? I am glad I never bought a lifetime membership. They have failed us.

Say what you will about the ACLU but they have fought for the 1st amendment for everyone, even some of the most despicable people. The NRA is more of a "rights for some" organization.

I'm a GOA member and I didn't "jump ship". I was an NRA member. But GOA is more effective, more proactive and doesn't compromise on principal or on the constitution. GOA forever! You cannot compromise with those who want to destroy our Democratic Republic.

That's another reason I'm supporting the GOA with all of my resources and spare time when permitted. I find that any one can be a supporting member regardless of your personal feelings for the management at both organizations. It's like this, over the last 6 years the only money that the NRA see's out of my pockets is every 3 or 4 months, I get a packet in the mail offering free NRA bling bling, or the higher end bling bling. I usually go for the higher end gear. ( I love the NRA BLING, Bling store ). At our gun range I'm known as one of the NRA guy's and I promote the NRA and gun safety. And yes I promote the GOA as well, only they get a quarterly check on a regular basis. Every other week I get a call from the NRA telemarketers and I take the time to stress my dismay with our upper management and make it well known that they will not get another penny from me in the form of a donation until Wayne is gone, and to date, not one of the callers has disagreed with my comments. Hey,, I got to get some self satisfaction for the five grand that I spent on membership upgrades. ( The Real Support ) Every time I hear what Troutslayer2 stated, out on the range from one of our new club members.,," ONLY armed with that information". I make it my goal that day, before that person leaves our range,,, that I have their $30.00 and a field out NRA membership card.( We have been known for waving the range fee that day in lieu of the NRA Membership fee.) It's better to be a part of both,,, than stand divided over BS. I joined the NRA to promote gun safety and safe hunting practices, and teach young kids the joy of shooting and gun safety. Really,, Nothing else. Fast forward 40 years and look at us now. In 2021 if you own a gun and not politically educated. You must be one of the new liberal Democrats that just tried to buy your first gun, and the ATF put a hold on your NIC Back ground check. The look on their faces is priceless." But Nancey said I could walk rite in and buy one, no questions asked, and walk, out with it.",,, Troutslayer2. I love you man, and wished that you were still in the fight with us over at the NRA. I would love for you to be a paid member and call them every week or day and voice your dismay with them. In my book, That's productive in a big way, and a big stress relief for you.,,, Regardless if your GOA or NRA or any other gun rights organization ( or just plain joe ) you can go to our web sites and take action on a large array of pollical gun grief, Take action now links, and help fight the fight. 30 seconds of your time will be greatly appreciated.

And you can be sure EVERY NRA and GOA member is on BETO's list.

Did you note the guy picked up in DC was stopped because he had "gun related" stickers on his car ?

I did hear about it. I removed all of the gun bling bling off my trucks and Cars back when Clinton took office. The last thing I want is for some thief to be out on the prowl, and spot my Dodge truck sitting there with GLOCK and NRA/GOA stickers all over the back glass.,, I might be a lot of things when my wife gets mad at me. but a thief I'm Not. Even I,, know enough about criminals to know that if I was out looking to steel a gun. That would be the 1st vehicle I broke into, . LOL:) I know, I would probably get shot the first time I tried to steel something. And breaking into a truck with Glock/NRA/GOA on it is not a very good idea to start with, on a realistic thought. LOL:) Heck, down here a POLITICAL sticker will get your windows busted out, and the sides keyed. ,,, It's like open carry, all you did was make your self a target. ,,,, But, to each his own.
AS for the guy in DC,,, Every one that I Know, that travels with their EDC, knows that in some states, if you do not have a permit, you can not carry period.
DC being one of them.( Thank God he was not in New York.) Even their transport laws look like swiss cheese and every law being enforced comes down to the officers doing the stop.,,, Also, I take 500rds of 45acp with me when I'm on the road, and 90% of the time I'm caring gun powder and primers, bullets, cases, and my little traveling reloading press. It keeps me in my hotel room and off the streets. ( My wife says that's a good thing.) :)
