the anti's are using our youth . strong arming store such as Dicks .banks won't deal with gun shops . youtube has dropped some gun videos . how long will it be until they try to shut down forums like this one . it's really getting to be a mess .

I agree 100%.

It seems like they have taken a 2 pronged approach to not only taking our guns, but also changing the very fabric of this Nation.

On one hand, they use emotional loud-mouth attacks in the streets, in social media and in the media to focus our attention on them. It works, too, because not only are WE focused on defending our point of view they also attract the attention of others who are emotionally caught up in the tragedy. They use peoples' initial emotional shock right after a tragedy and blow it up into a one sided free-for-all blaming an inanimate object.

They completely ignore the facts and present a one sided argument but because the media eats it right up and promotes it, they gain strength based on emotions- not facts.

Meanwhile, they quietly try to instill things into the minds of our youth that challenge everything it means to be an American.

It's no wonder why so many today are turning away from our traditions- the Left/media incessantly pounds the 'evils' of our past and sells an unobtainable utopia if we just change who we are and what we stand for.

Idaho, I also feel sorry for our youth. They are being led down a path of self-destruction but all they see is the utopia that the left wants them to see.

I'm sure not trying to make light on the fact of 17 deaths . what really grabs me about all this uproar is , we have a nut job kill 17 kids at school . every agency dropped the ball that should have prevented this . when it does happen the police drop the ball by not going in the school . this is just completely unacceptable .
now look at student deaths from bullying , 4400 per year . seldom do I hear about it . where is the outrage ? these student protesters should be trying to get this problem solved .

That "kid" graduated from a California high school in 2013... He's a plant. So is his cousin the bald-headed girl Emma Gonzalez. Both graduated high school in California a couple years ago. They're FBI/DNC/Soros/Bloomberg plants to push gun control by tugging at American's heartstrings...Which is just pure evil. Hogg even said his dad was in the FBI. I'm not saying that nobody died, but I am saying that this was without a doubt, a textbook false flag op from the top to the bottom. Do some research on Operation Northwoods.

Sorry if this is another 'preachy' post, but everyone who owns a firearm and is concerned about the march of tyranny and treason in our government should join the NRA.

Our country is changing due to the stupidity manufactured by the schools and propaganda outlets (over the years, the television has deliberately disseminated a very leftist 'vision' that has subtly swayed the unwary and unthinking) and you don't even have to read Jefferson and Tocqueville to understand how out of hand it's all gotten. In this country now, there are too many people who unashamedly want to throw out the Constitution itself and do something "new" (even though it's not new - it's been tried and failed before). You know it's bad when a leftist Supreme Court judge publicly attacks our Constitution and says that she wouldn't use it for a modern nation. Treason, right? She should have been removed from the court, but she is still there spouting her treason and "interpreting" the Constitution through her Leninist worldview, hoping that some big anti-gun legislation makes it to her before she takes the final trip down to spend eternity in the fiery commune with Marx, Stalin, and Alinsky.

And that kind of public, widespread, and tv-legitimized treason encourages the rest of them to become more vocal and demanding. Our founding fathers would have chased these anti-Americans out with the last British ship, but today they are on the brink of becoming the permanent political majority. The culture war against old America as a moral, just, and independent nation is entering it's final phase. The lemming generation is rushing toward the cliffs. The lemmings hate guns because they hate anything that is at odds with their programmed totalitarian worldview. And make no mistake, over 50 percent of millennials are socialists who think that the purpose of government is to "deal with" the "bad guys" who disagree with their utopian vision of social justice as proposed by the SPLC (and the writings of Marx). And that vision has no room for independent nations, for patriotism and national pride, for guns that will uphold freedom, or for religion which would conflict with their concept of salvation through government.

I agree with supporting the NRA, and good on all of you that just joined. I give them money when they call. But, getting folks into the NRA is only part of the solution. We have to get the word out for them to vote, and vote for the candidates that support the 2nd Amendment. If the anti gun side gets control of both houses of Congress it will be a disaster for us. They will either go straight to impeachment or they will use impeachment as leverage to try to force the president to sign their bills. As you all saw this weekend the other side has created an army of mindless drones that will vote how they say to vote. We need as many of us out there voting to counter their efforts.
