Not impressed with ADG brass

I loaded three new Peterson cases with 90 gr of H1000 and 300 Bergers, my standard load for my Edge. Three shots had these velocities:
2886
2881
2891

The ADG with the same load (new cases) varied from 2840 to 2860 +/-
We're all conditions equall between these two samples?

Eg.
Was the rifle already fouled and warm for one group or was one of those from each group a true cold bore shot?

Was temp, humidity, etc the same for both groups?

The only reason I am getting rid of the Nosler is because they are developing case head separation marks (I set the shoulder back 2 thou, so this gives you an idea of how many times they have been fired).

My guess is ADG cases are thinner in all dimensions, thus the lower velocity and higher pressure. Be interesting to see what the Peterson stuff does.
My Lapua brass (.338 lm) was showing the same case head seperation marks on the second loading....and experienced two case head seperations...tossed it all...cost was $5.75 a case

Seriously? Cold bore for each. In fact, the ADG stuff was mostly shot at my CO place where it is much colder than AZ, but then again, my shooting postions is a 10 foot walk outside from my loading room.

Really? I was slow to jump on the Lapua bandwagon but I love Lapua for my custom 338LM. Primer pockets stay super tight and my SDs are the best of any rifle I own.

Yes. I can't be the only one whose noticed a tendency for the ES to smaller if you take out the cold bore shot. In your very small sample size, if you fired a cold bore shot with the Adg sample and not with the other one then your comparison is not valid.

I wasn't impressed with their 7 rum brass either. Got the shiny cirlce from the ejector at starting loads. And case head expansion well before book max. Soft ultra mag brass is a no go for me.

90gr H1000 300 hybrid is definitely the gold standard for the edge. the consistency for new brass is impressive don't usually see that. hope it holds on the second and third firings.

They were both 3 shot groups; ADG had multiple ones over multiple days. Why on earth do I want to use brass that requires more powder to get the same velocity with higher pressure to boot?

I am going to load these again along with three more new cases. Will keep you posted.
