This is partially the wording of the original posting where I purchased the rifle and partially my dribble.
2008 Nosler M48 Custom Shop Rifle in 270WSM caliber. This is an early custom shop rifle built in that time period when the Custom Shop rifles were truly one-off rifles built in their custom shop.
- 24" match-grade Pac-Nor barrel
- Trued M48 action
- Carbon-Kevlar stock in onyx gray that weighs 26.0 ounces
- Pillar bedded
- Timney trigger
- Gray Cerakote on all metal parts
The rifle with stock and Talley Lightweights weighs 6lbs 8.7oz. It shoots ¾" MOA with factory ammo. I don't reload so its potential hasn't been explored. Round count is less than 50.. There is one small shiny spot in the Cerakote about 2" from the muzzle. That's the only blemish in the metal. It looks new in the hand. The trigger guard/floorplate assembly is made of steel, not aluminum. Receiver and Pac-Nor barrel are stainless under the Cerakote.
There is a tiny chip in the stock along the left side of the receiver that I used a Sharpie on that is pictured as well.
Includes all the brass shown, some is headstamped 300 WSM, but IIRC it has been resized, approximately ammo 11 boxes as shown and a Redding Competition 3 die set.
$1850 for dies, brass, ammo and rifle ftf in Weatherford or west Fort Worth
I paid more than that for just the rifle. It's a great rifle, shot 6 rounds a few weeks back to zero and verify a 3 round group, shot under an 1" with the cheap Power Points.
Trades considered on a case by case basis via PM only, but it's going to have to be enticing, I have my eye on a rifle at a local shop
