*** THE SALE RETURNS!!! ***

I have been shooting this ammo in a Custom Model Seven for a couple of years and no foolin' it's well under a half inch in my rifle.

This sale came up on the Nosler website and it works out to $5.00 per box of 20. I don't think I can handload them for that cheap!

You'd better hurry because they only have one more bulk pack in stock!!!

I hope this stuff shoots decent, too. Didn't order 6K but ordered a couple boxes of this stuff for plinking around with.

Anyone have any specific reason/s why Nosler recommends not using this stuff in an AR???

I saw this >
Trophy Grade Varmint 223 Rem 40 Grain Ballistic Tip® Ammo (400ct)
**** WARNING ****
Due to the combination of light bullet weight and burn rate of the powder used in this load, this ammunition is not suitable for use in semiautomatic (AR-style) firearms. Nosler recommends that this ammunition be used in Bolt-Action firearms only.

Give it time... Subscribe the the Nosler emails and when they come check out what's on sale. That was the best sale I've seen them have but they had others that were also very good.

l have a trophy from my visit to Nosler in Bend 0r, April 2003. They were celebrating John Nosler's 90th BD. Nosler had some editions of their latest manual signed by three generations of Noslers.. John Sr, Robert, and John Jr. lt has a special place on my loading bench...

That book is cherished almost as much as the memories l have of shooting ground squirrels in the SNOW near Goose Lake 0r/Cali the next day;)

Yeah... We're never likely to ever see prices like that again. I'm thinking they'll stabilize after we get control of the Whitehouse and one of the houses of Congress again but that might be a long time.

It's almost like a dream that those prices ever existed eh? LOL
