Norma MRP Equivalent

I copied and pasted this quote below from a post of John Barsness, noted gun writer. The same question came up on the campfire. Take it as you want to take it, but he is usually pretty trustworthy.

"Not too long before doing that article I had talked with the head of Norma at the SHOT Show. He admitted that MRP was the same powder as RL-22, but that he believed MRP was more consistent from lot to lot."
Kinda like MP 715 is H1000, just a non trade marked label.

Ha, ya'll ain't gonna believe this. Just got back from RC Willy, a piece of our sectional came in; anyhoo, swung by one of my LGS and they had 7 lbs. of MRP in the older cans. 29.00 a pound, no joke they don't have a website so google:

Shooters Bench
222 W Railroad St, Nampa, ID 83687

I was looking for some StaBall HD, they didn't have it but another LGS did!! Nice to see more and more components in stock!

If you happen to find yourself in CA, I've got 3lbs of MRP that I'd sell you.

.
Thank you. Although unlikely I will def keep it in mind.

One thing that never ceases to amaze me is the willingness of forum members here to help one another. Thank you to those who have offered to help me out and those who have offered their extra powder to me. It's greatly appreciated.
