Nomad Ti vs LTi for elk rifle

@HunterWang, I think I just decided to go DA Nomad LTI, the new one. Don't want to cut shoulders into barrels or buy a handful of muzzle devices. Have a reminder notice for when it is in stock.
Also NEEEEEEEEEEED the Rugged Oculus!! Two reasons - 1. We have a herd of vermin out back and the neighbors Lab is devout in patrolling. She jumped them and they fought back, tearing her up pretty bad. Conibears deployed, worried about the cats in the hood though. A quiet .22 might do better and more discrete work. 2. the feeders at the farm are inundated by coons! We have created a super race - they have learned to climb on each others backs - and one has somehow learned how to JUMP and latch on the the spinner!! Had 16 in one cam pic...

I've got a Nomad L and its very quiet. I am sure the LTi would be as well. If I was buying again today, I'd have a look at the Dilligent Defense Enticer models as well. Pew Silencer Research rates them similarly to the Nomad, but I have seen the Enticer L Ti and S Ti for significantly cheaper than the Dead Air models. Currently seeing under $700 for the Enticer S Ti and under $800 for the Enticer L Ti. My nomad L (not TI) was about that price.
As far as S vs L. Weight difference is negligible. So I would consider the caliber and barrel length you are looking at. Short action 22", could probably do the S and not be damaging your hearing much. Something magnum, I think you'd want the L.

Poor dog haha. Probably not afraid to do it again for her people either.
Shoot me an email [email protected] and let's see if we can't get you both the Nomad and the Oculus in one go, and try to save you some money.
I have a Sparrow and Oculus and like them both. They are about the same in Db to me BUT the Oculus does appear to have less first round pop. I like the modularity of it too.
However, I want to get an Otter Creek Ti as the weight savings is nice. I haven't shot one but have discussed it with others and it supposedly has a good first shot reduced sound too.
Another point I am discovering, is to get a can that is easy to clean, especially on rimfire. It's a creature feature I'm definitely paying attention to more.

People who don't take care of their stuff simply never understand why that even would be a feature. People who really use their stuff know it will only do its work if taken care of; any good tool needs preservation. Feel free to also send over an email and we could help you out.
@HunterWang, YES, She is all doped up and lays by the back window watching, waiting, and she will... Sweet, tough, but not the sharpest tack.
