I have a question, how do y'all spot the photoshopped images? Reverse image search? I been following the threads where they catch the scammer or are just to leary to proceed and sometimes there is no mention of how they figured out the pictures were fake.

My niece was dumb enough to get robbed at gun point over a phone. I was mad at her for being so dumb.

LOL! It has been a while but I posted a set of 4 tires and a guy offered me 4X what I am asking. He said, he is going to wire me money order via Western Union. So I played along and told him, I'd rather meet in person. He said, OK, and asked where to meet. I gave him the FBI building address, and never heard from him since.

Hard to have much sympathy for those who get scammed these days. There's been a multitude of threads on how to recognize a scammer and protect yourself.

But I have noticed that we have a lot of old members returning to buy or sell. And I assume they are not up on the threads. It's a shame we got Scammers. But in this day and age. Not working for your needs is growing. Morals be damned.

I've not been scammed but it definitely concerns me when I send $500 to someone I'll never meet for an item I hope is legit.
