Monster mk .136 bolt (Grendel II)
Mcgowen custom 7.62x39 with a true .300/.308 bore and groove in 12 twist chambered to headspace with a Grendel type II bolt, and to shoot 110gr Noslers, 125gr TNTs, and 125gr Cavity Back MKZs. Midlength gas with .100" port/.750" journal for a Superlative Arms adjustable gas block, to run full house loads without being over gassed or to run suppressed. CMMG midlength gas tube.
BCA flash hider just there protecting the 5/8-24 muzzle threads.
This has never been fired, but should be very accurate. Receiver face was squared and the barrel bedded with blue loktite, barrel nut torqued at 40lbs.

200 Lapua cases.
300 Starline cases.
150 PPU cases.
4 pounds of CFE BLK

All that is needed to finish this, is the Superlative adjustable gas block, it needs the clamp on version, because Mcgowen did not dimple the barrel. I have 990$ invested in this project.

It would run subs, up to 180gr flat base with CFEBLK or AA2200, or any of the lighter bullets with AA1680. With the gas system as I speced it, it will cycle with a suppressor on.

I forgot to mention in the original post, the barrel is 23", I picked this length based off a modified powder file in quickload, that I had matched to data from another rifle, 18.5" CZ527 carbine, and 23" came to the length that gave optimum barrel time for 110s, 125s, and 150s, all an approximation, but is typically pretty accurate. The nodes should have 110s at 2825ish, 125s at 2675ish, and 150s at 2450ish, without exceeding 55k psi. This was all based on CFE BLK, but AA1680 only lags 25-30fps behind.

I also have 2 blasting barrels, both 7.62x39 BCAs, a 16" carbine gas with tube and gas block, and a 18" with midlength gas and Seekins set screw adjustable gas block, with a 15" BCA mlok handguard and barrel nut, and 2 ASC 7.62x39 10rd magazines.
