Welcome from Illinois!
The Gunwerks G7, Sig2400, Kestral 5700/AB allow you to input any click value. Unless you are looking for click outputs from your calculator which is typically not the case , the graduation is not relevant for turret usage or reticle holdovers.I don't currently own a rangefinder with the ability to input ballistics data. Do you know if there is an option with any of the manufactures for .33 MOA instead of .25?
Welcome to this site! There is a wealth of knowledge here. From a fellow casper wy dwellerThanks Frenchie, I lived in NW Washington for a spell. I'm currently in Casper Wyoming.
Welcome from idahoHello all,
I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Mike and I am brand new to the long range world. I have previously focused my efforts in the archery world and have started to branch out. I will probably ask some really basic and silly questions so take it easy on me. I just picked up a Christensen Ridgeline in 6.5 PRC to begin this journey. A couple of upgrades already, Stocky's VG2 carbon stock and a trigger tech special. Currently running the Huskemaw Tactical 5-20X50; however, I may be swapping out to the NF 4-32x50 NX8.
IMO- Washington will remain a beautiful place until you look at what politics has done to it. I have lived here my entire life and have always been proud to say that but as I have gotten older and watched the Seattle area self implode, it makes me somewhat ashamed.Congratualtions - you are in the right place. Ask away, and someone here will have an answer - at least one! Spent some time in the Tacoma area. and Washihgton is a beatutiful palce!
Just plain Sad isn't it!Welcome from Washington, I agree with Frenchie.
Yes it is, poor management on wildlife, poorly ran cities, I am hanging out until I retire and then moving somewhere less poorly ran.Just plain Sad isn't it!
Exactly my plan as well. Possibly even before I retire. Don't get me started on the game management. My fingers would be bleeding before I was done with that rant!Yes it is, poor management on wildlife, poorly ran cities, I am hanging out until I retire and then moving somewhere less poorly ran.
Just use the scope you have at least untill you gain more knowledge.I haven't fully decided if I'll switch or not. My thought was I want to learn as much as I can about long range hunting. Huskemaw's system is great if I want to simply dial a yardage with their custom turrets; however, I am looking forward to imputing data, barometric pressure, temp, elevation and using an MOA system. I'm sure I could still accomplish this with the yardage system and an accurate ballistics profile with the Huskemaw, just personal preference. Then again, I have no idea what I'm talking about at this point.
