I got some 143 ELDx to try and gonna try and get ahold of some 147 ELD.
I've been debating this exact thing. I know that I'm digging up an old post and I'm sorry. It looks to me that the XLR element only offers it in a short action. It also appears that the ultralite is one action length unless they have the overall lengths wrong on the website. What am I missing?Ok, I will explain further. The problem is with the COAL limitations of the internal magazine. I tried finding bottom metal that would work with it. Maybe Wyatts? This is why I don't have a High Country right now. As far as the chassis...28 oz XLR Element 3 chassis. The Accustock weighs 35.56 oz.

Well, that's gonna be an issue then for my bank account. I'll be adding one of these in 300 wsm in the near future. They are multiple actions.
Long action for 28 nosler/280ai/ etc
Short action for 6.5prc/creed/300wsm etc
Magnum seem to all be large shank diameter (6.5 prc/28 nosler)
Non magnum seem to be small shank (280ai/308/6.5 creed)

I still really like mine in 6.5 PRC.Dragging this back again, those of you who have had them, what are your thoughts? Pretty much decided on the PRC for my wife as her out west rifle, but curious to hear from others as well
