I am buying a Tikka t3 stainless in 243 for my new coyote/ride around in the pickup rifle. I am going to put a Leupold 3.5-10x40mm that I already have laying around on it. The scope has a fine duplex, so basically my main objective here is a flat shooting yet fairly hard hitting rifle for coyotes. I am thinking an 80 grain Ballistic tip. should fight the wind better than my 22-250 and i should be able to make a 400 yard shot by holding on the spine. Just wondering if any of you have any input, and I am not a hide hunter so I dont care if it rips them in half...in fact I prefer it...
