New press?????

I have a Forester Co-Ax, RCBS Rockchucker, and Hornady Lock n Load AP……and just bought the Lyman Turret Press (similar to the Redding T-7) but $100 cheaper and with an 8th die location. Then, I swapped the Turret head with a CNC cut new head made by Creedmoor Sports ($170) and added the Creedmoor Sports upgrade kit ($15). This is now by far my best and most precise reloading press WITHOUT breaking the bank.

The same upgrades are available for the Redding T-7, which is what my brother went with. The 8tg location of the Lyman, and $100+ less price tag is what convinced me to go Lyman vs. Redding. Been reloading for 20 years now and this is an awesome set up (w/ upgrades mentioned). Here are best prices in the country:

I just got the Lyman turret press (8 slots), along with the Creedmoor Sports turret head and upgrade kit. Upgraded turret head is the way to go on any of the turret presses…..removes the slop and no need to change out your dies for 3-4 total calibers! Look into it!

And the factory head works well enough for pistol cartridges. I got the same setup. The Creedmore heads are a bit pricey but worth the money.

BTW -in less than 4 years this can happen. This is just one of the reloading stations.

@Cricket, this is one of the few kits that you have everything you need to get you started.

I must admit that I like the green colored stuff but, this kit does seem to have all the necessary basic items. If you have nothing, it probably is a very good way to get you started. Might want to throw in the major bullet manufactures reloading manuals.

The green stuff is good! Been wanting to try a summit myself but don't need it! The rcbs powder dispensers are a lot better than the lynman in my opinion! Wish they would offer a kit like this! The reason I recommend this kit is I remember trying to piece together what I needed and it was overwhelming, because I had a friend go over the basics but I was on my on mostly.
