New Member Spamming

I thought I read somewhere that admin is monitoring new members that are posting one word responses to threads and just trying to get their count up.
@Chris is that true? We have a guy spamming the new members threads.

That would explain why I have so many "new member" threads in a row as showing active. Someone is posting to all of them!
