New invention for stuck case removal , that doesn’t work

Did i miss something? Why not use the RCBS stuck case remover kit. They even have one for bushing type dies. Costs $24.00, 10.00 for the bushing dies, plus shipping direct from RCBS. Probably less the replacing the sizing die. Works great. Expanding ball would be impossible to remove. I've stuck two cases. First one was so long ago, I don't remember much about it, but i bought the kit and it worked. The second was with a die that was shortened slightly to correct a head space problem. (Didn't work), but the kit also easily removed it. I'd reccommend that every reloader buy one "just in case". Cheap insurance and after a few minutes work and your back in business.

1) This only happens when all the stores are closed.
2) It also only happens it you do not have a stuck case remover, or cannot find the one you bought "just in case" years ago LOL.
3) Murphy was one cruel dude.

A second expediency method that might help, is a paint can opener(s), especially for the AR's and AK's large and small versions opener, not going to go into how to use it, it's pretty easy to figerout, you might have to do a little modification them to work for you. I keep a couple on my kit for field use. Cheer's

Seems like you could one end in a vise and turn the other to screw it out? Might need a cheater bar with a stillsen wrench but I bet it would torque out?

My buddy has managed to get a 378Wby case stuck in the FL die on 2-3 occasions. He sent the die back to the manufacturer on each occasion and they removed it for free. The last time they actually called him and said DO NOT USE ANYTHING EXCEPT IMPERIAL SIZING LUBE.

That was the last time he has stuck a case in a die.

Has ANYONE ever stuck a case in a die that was not brand new? I don't know what they use to preserve them at the factory but it is not compatable with case lube, especially Hornady One Shot. They aren't kidding when they say to clean the die before using it.
The 2 I have stuck were not new and clean. When mine are new I pull mine apart and clean them real well with brake cleaner then alcohol.

I used a home made stuck case remover kit both times and worked like a charm.

hornady 1 shot no more stuck cases
I love the stuff and have stuck both the cases I stuck with it. Both times I did the same stupid thing. New dies. Cleaned,(kinda) Lubed with one shot, ran a hull in the die before the stuff dried. No issues once the first coat in the die dries. Must be an issue, I've done it twice. Aggravating and totally my fault.

I've had the same issue with spray type case lube, maybe I just don't know what I'm doing. 2 stuck cases, and one ruined die with spray, zero stuck with the old school RCBS lube pad.

Yep, you took the post right out of my fingers!! That same company has removed a couple for me F.O.C., no relation to AOC, and made me a believer in Imperial sizing wax. I wear one latex glove and smear a little on thumb/index finger and just give each case little roll. I bought a 2 oz .tin from Midway (yeah don't remind me)
One Shot works but I'm not a fan of the smell of VOCs.
